What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive eye exams to correctional facility inmates
- Document findings and recommend appropriate treatments or eyewear
- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with facility staff and other healthcare providers
- Adhere to facility protocols and federal correctional policies
- Manage all aspects of optometric care within the correctional setting
What You Need:
- Valid Optometry license for South Carolina
- Relevant certifications and credentials (to be confirmed upon application)
- Prior experience in optometry, ideally with correctional or diverse patient populations
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to work independently in a secure environment
