Assignment Overview
- Start: August 2026
- Duration: ~3 months (through mid-November) with potential to extend
- Schedule:MondayFriday | 7:00a3:30p
- Call: None
- Setting: Hospital-based OR
- Volume: ~5060 cases/day across the department
Clinical Scope
- Full-spectrum pediatric anesthesia (neonatal adolescent, with some adult exposure)
- Broad case mix includes:
- General pediatric surgery
- Complex orthopedics
- Neurosurgery
- Thoracic (non-cardiac)
- Mix of:
- Hands-on cases
- Supervising CRNAs in a care team model
- Excludes cardiac and transplant cases
Ideal for anesthesiologists seeking high-acuity pediatric cases with structured hours and no call burden
Practice Environment
- Level I pediatric trauma setting
- ~14 ORs with strong case volume
- Large, collegial anesthesia team

Requirements
- Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology
- Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- Comfortable with:
- Neonatal + pediatric cases
- Complex surgical environments
- Care team supervision
Compensation
