What Youll Do
Provide anesthesia care in a busy hospital operating room setting with approximately 50-60 cases daily
Supervise CRNAs as part of a care team model, practicing both independently and collaboratively
Manage a wide age range of patients from neonatal to adult
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, nurses, and surgical techs
Ensure patient safety and optimize anesthesia plans for surgical procedures
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need
Ohio medical license and DEA registration
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice experience preferred
Ability to supervise CRNAs and work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

This assignment is based at a highly regarded hospital in Dayton, Ohio, featuring 14 operating rooms and a well-established anesthesia team within a Level I Trauma Center. The facility boasts a collegial staff of RNs, surgical techs, APPs, and surgeons dedicated to delivering high-quality surgical care. The role involves supervising a mix of solo practice and CRNA supervision, ensuring comprehensive anesthesia coverage across a diverse patient population.
