Join Our Team as a Locum Physician Assistant (PA) Oncology in Greenville, SC
Are you a dedicated Physician Assistant seeking a meaningful locum opportunity in oncology? This position offers the chance to contribute to comprehensive cancer care at a renowned free-standing cancer center. You will work alongside a professional team to manage adult and geriatric patients, providing vital support in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Your expertise will help ensure seamless patient care and support the ongoing needs of the facility during a busy period of coverage.
Required Skills:
- Valid PA license and certification
- Experience in oncology, hematology, or related fields
- Ability to manage outpatient and inpatient oncology patients
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
- Comfort with handling bone marrow transplants, blood bank procedures, and chemotherapy administration coordination
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working in a cancer center or hospital setting
- Familiarity with inpatient rounding and call responsibilities
- Knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and supportive care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited PA program
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in oncology or hematology
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 04/08/2026
- Willingness to support call and inpatient rounding schedule
- Ability to complete credentialing process (~60 days)
- Travel and lodging expenses reimbursed, including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rates
