What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized support in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Monitor and document patient status during surgeries and recovery
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records in the EPIC EMR system
• Support inpatient and outpatient care teams as needed

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active Virginia Physician Assistant license
  • Certification: NCCPA Certified
  • BLS certification
  • Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery or critical care
• Preferred:
  • Experience working in high-acuity surgical environments
  • Strong team collaboration skills
