What You’ll Do

• Assist in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, including elective and emergent cases
• Provide hospital rounding and assist in clinical settings
• Support the surgical team with procedures such as removal of chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheters, epicardial wires, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Collaborate with support staff, including office supervisors and surgical teams
• Take call responsibilities during scheduled shifts to support patient care continuity
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need
Required:

• Ohio PA license
• Minimum 1+ year surgical experience with cardiac or thoracic procedures
• Proficiency in procedures like chest tube removal, pulmonary artery catheter removal, and intra-aortic balloon pump management
• Ability to work flexible shifts and respond promptly during call

Preferred:

• Experience with vascular and cardiac surgeries
• Open heart surgical experience or RNFA credentials considered favorably
