Our client in New Mexico seeks a dedicated Neurological Surgery Physician Assistant for a 168-day assignment. The schedule follows a 7 on, 7 off rotation, primarily covering day shifts from 6a-6p, with a critical requirement for flexibility to switch to night shifts (6p-6a) as needed, or to commit to nights only. This role focuses on managing a variety of neurosurgery cases.Responsibilities and Duties
Manage all neurosurgery cases.
Additional Information
Required Board Certifications: Neurological Surgery and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP).
Additional required certifications: Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS).
EMR: Powerchart.
Inpatient setting.
No call requirements.
Patient volume: Approximately 10 patients per day.
LOA: 168 Days.
Staffing mix: Work collaboratively with other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and surgeons.
