What Youll Do:- Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and assessments in a Level II trauma setting
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies and labs
- Provide patient counseling on health matters, including medication management
- Support the trauma surgeon by monitoring, managing, and discharging trauma patients
- Assist in procedures such as local anesthesia, sutures, wound care, fracture management, and minor invasive procedures
- Recognize urgent situations and initiate appropriate treatment measures
- Support the multidisciplinary trauma team as needed
- Document findings and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
What You Need:- CA Physician Assistant license
- Trauma or critical care experience
- Ability to perform advanced procedures, including some surgical assisting and documentation
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Documentation of surgical assisting competence (if applicable), or relevant training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
