• Licensure/Certs: Virginia license preferred, BLS/ACLS required
• Experience: Prior urgent care or emergency room experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Perform suturing, wound care, I&D, and foreign body removal
• Manage minor burns, skin lesions, and injury stabilization
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations including X-ray and EKG interpretation
• Review point-of-care lab results, rapid tests, and blood glucose levels
• Provide airway support with nebulizer treatments and emergency stabilization
• Document care accurately in Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely patient care for birth to death populations

What You Need:

• Virginia Physician Assistant license or eligibility
• Previous urgent care or emergency room experience preferred
• Strong procedural skills including suturing, I&D, immobilization, and vital sign interpretation
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care

The provider will handle episodic events and stabilize higher acuity cases for transfer as needed, all within a supportive team setting.
