Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $17.16/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Provide urgent care services including laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal, minor burn management, skin lesion care, orthopedic injury stabilization, splinting and casting, joint reduction, and X-ray interpretation
• Conduct diagnostic point-of-care testing such as rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, RSV, urinalysis, and blood glucose testing
• Manage epistaxis using anterior nasal packing or cautery, cerumen impaction removal, and initial emergency airway stabilization
• Document all patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care

What You Need:

• Active Virginia Physician Assistant license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
• Strong suturing, splinting, and trauma management skills
• Ability to see a high volume of patients with varied needs in a fast-paced environment
