What You’ll Do

• Provide urgent care services to a diverse patient population (birth to death)
• Perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, and minor burn management
• Interpret X-rays, EKGs, and point-of-care tests like flu and COVID-19 tests
• Manage epistaxis with nasal packing or cautery, cerumen removal, and nebulizer treatments
• Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
• Assist in stabilization of acute injuries and minor procedures within outpatient clinics
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations

What You Need
Required:

• Active Virginia state PA license
• Proven experience in outpatient or urgent care settings
• Strong procedural skills (suturing, I&D, splinting, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and handle a high-volume patient flow

Preferred:

• Prior urgent care or emergency department experience
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
