What You’ll Do:

• Provide emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in a busy trauma level 3 ED
• Manage a variety of urgent and acute cases independently and collaboratively
• Work closely with hospital staff, including APPs and hospitalists, to ensure quality patient care
• Respond to emergency codes and coordinate patient transfers as needed
• Monitor paramedic communications and oversee ambulance arrivals
• Document patient encounters efficiently using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in required response times for on-call physicians (30-minute response required)
• Contribute to a team environment focused on patient safety and quality care

What You Need:

• Active Massachusetts Medical License
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Minimum of 2+ years of ED experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in trauma, high-acuity cases, and trauma center protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations and adhere to hospital bylaws
