What You'll Bring:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Gastroenterology
- Experience performing ERCP procedures
- Ability to provide reliable, high-quality call coverage during scheduled shifts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with hospital staff and colleagues
- Self-motivated with excellent clinical judgment and organizational skills
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in a rural or community hospital setting
- Familiarity with hospitalist support systems and colorectal surgical teams
- Proficiency in outpatient GI clinic management
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active state medical license in Michigan or eligible for licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in gastroenterology
Other Requirements:
- ERCP certification is mandatory
- Willingness to work on-call shifts Monday through Thursday; no weekend call required
- Ability to travel within the community as needed
- Compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, including licensure and certifications
