Requirements:
- Valid medical license for Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care, triage, and delivery attendance
- Strong clinical skills with ability to handle GYN emergencies and surgical procedures such as Cesarean sections
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous hospitalist or OB/GYN hospital-based experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or neonatal resuscitation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient obstetric experience
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on or around April 28, 2026
- Ability to work flexible hours, including covering call and emergencies
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care
- Willingness to travel and work designated shifts within the hospital
