Our client in Indiana is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a 78-day assignment beginning Nov 2, 2026. This role involves working 12-hour shifts, providing comprehensive urgent care for conditions ranging from respiratory infections and minor injuries to common infections and gastrointestinal issues, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Treat respiratory infections such as colds, flu, bronchitis, sinus infections, and sore throats.
• Manage gastrointestinal issues including mild stomach viruses, food poisoning, and dehydration from vomiting or diarrhea.
• Address various infections like urinary tract infections (UTIs), ear infections, and pink eye (conjunctivitis).
• Care for skin concerns such as minor rashes, insect bites, and localized skin infections.
• Evaluate and treat sprains and strains, including mild to moderate joint or muscle injuries.
• Manage minor cuts and lacerations requiring stitches or staples, and minor or small-area first- and second-degree burns.
• Diagnose and treat simple, non-displaced fractures or broken fingers and toes.
• Perform basic imaging with X-rays for sprains or simple breaks.
• Conduct rapid lab tests for strep, flu, COVID-19, or basic urine tests.
• Administer treatments including tetanus shots, basic wound care, and prescription medications.
