What You’ll Do

• Provide 24-hour on-site OB/GYN coverage with hospital-based call support
• Manage Labor & Delivery (L&D) patients and support inpatient obstetric needs
• Provide GYN coverage for ER presentations
• Assist CNMs/FPOBs and coordinate care as needed during active shifts
• Support required procedures and clinical workflow for inpatient/outpatient cases
• Respond to obstetric and gynecologic needs including triage and consults as required
• Collaborate with onsite support staff including L&D RNs, CNMs/FPOBs, Lab, X-ray tech, and nursing team

What You Need
Required

• OB/GYN physician licensure for practice in Washington (WA)
• Board-certified/eligible provider status as required by facility credentialing (details submitted during onboarding)
• Ability to provide 24-hour on-site coverage for scheduled shifts
• Credentialing typically requires ~60 days minimum

Preferred

• Prior experience covering L&D and ER-based GYN presentations
• Familiarity with Epic (EMR listed for the assignment)

About the Assignment
This locums opportunity provides OB/GYN coverage at a leading facility in Burien, Washington, with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Coverage includes vaginal deliveries, C-sections, triage support as needed, ED consults, and gyn surgery support. There is a private call room on L&D for the OB provider, and the schedule is typically 24-hour shifts (7a–7a) with site flexibility by week. Minimal floating may be requested to a nearby facility, if needed.
