Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB/GYN in Enumclaw, WA

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Locum Physician to provide essential OB/GYN call coverage at a critical access hospital nestled in the beautiful community of Enumclaw, Washington. In this vital role, you will serve as the sole OB/GYN provider, managing low and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries, OB/GYN emergency cases, and performing essential procedures such as C-sections, laceration repairs, and GYN surgeries. You will work within a collaborative team, including CNMs and FPOBs, supporting the labor and delivery unit, emergency department, and outpatient clinic. The hospital features a Level I Nursery and Trauma designation, supporting your diverse clinical responsibilities.
Required Skills:
- Board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN
- Proven experience with low and high-risk obstetrics
- Skilled in performing C-sections, emergency GYN surgeries, and managing OB inductions
- Ability to interpret FHR and conduct routine and complicated deliveries
- Comfortable with OB/GYN procedures and supervising if needed
- Strong clinical decision-making and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital setting
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic
- Ability to handle emergent GYN surgeries and complex deliveries
- Past experience with VBACs and high-risk pregnancy management
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active Washington State medical license
- At least 2 years of obstetrics and gynecology experience, including surgical procedures
- Credentialed or credentialing-ready within three months
Other Requirements:
- Availability for 6-8 call shifts per month, including overnight and holiday coverage
- Willingness to provide services in a critical access hospital setting
- Response within 20 minutes by cell phone during on-call hours
- Compliance with all credentialing deadlines and requirements
- Ability to travel locally or stay in preferred lodging options, with coverage arranged accordingly
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $375 - $400
- Malpractice coverage included
- Orientation: $187.50 - $200 per hour after 8 hours
- Holiday Rate: $562.50 - $600 per hour
- On-Call (Daily): $3,300 - $3,600 per 24 hours (including 4 hours gratis)
- 24-Hour Holiday Call Rate: $4,950 - $5,400 (including 4 hours gratis)
- Callback Rates: $375 - $400 per patient contact hour; Holiday Callback: $562.50 - $600
