We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Locum Physician to provide exceptional obstetric and gynecological care at Otsego Memorial Hospital in beautiful Gaylord, MI. What You’ll Do:

Provide top-tier obstetric and gynecological care across a well-equipped facility with an onsite lab and ultrasound. Engage in routine and complex deliveries, including low and high-risk pregnancies, cesarean sections, and gynecological procedures. Collaborate with a dedicated team of nursing staff and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Flexibility for 10 clinic shifts per month, with options for occasional night and call shifts, including 24-hour call coverage.

Required Skills:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution and active medical license in Michigan
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience managing low and high-risk pregnancies
• Strong procedural skills including deliveries, C-sections, and gynecological surgeries
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• ACLS certification is required

• Experience with Level 2 trauma centers
• Prior work in rural or community hospital settings
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Flexibility to handle a variety of obstetric and gynecologic procedures
• Familiarity with managing complex obstetric cases such as multiple births or high-risk pregnancies

• MD or DO degree with completion of OB/GYN residency
• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Previous locum or hospital-based experience is a plus

• Must be local to Gaylord, MI, and available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month
• Ability to assist with night or call shifts (7 a.m. – 7 a.m.)
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a Level 2 trauma setting
• Must maintain all certifications and licensing current throughout the assignment
• Reimbursements for travel, licensure, and certification as applicable
