What Youll Do
- Provide OB/GYN inpatient and outpatient care, including deliveries and C-sections
- Perform routine and complex vaginal and surgical gynecological procedures
- Manage obstetric emergencies and collaborate with anesthesia and pediatric teams
- Cover ED OB/GYN consults and support Family Birthing Center (L&D) services
- Document patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR system
- Support hospital and departmental protocols for safe and effective patient care
- Fulfill call coverage responsibilities, including nights, weekends, and holidays
What You Need
Required:
- Active California medical license and current OB/GYN certification or eligibility
- Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Proven experience performing gynecological surgeries (?100 procedures in last two years)
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a hospital environment
Preferred:
- Experience working in hospital settings with obstetric and gynecological procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to proctor and support new privileges or credentials as needed
