What You’ll Do

• Provide OB hospitalist coverage at a busy hospital with approximately 884 annual births
• Manage a patient encounter volume of about 184 per month (excluding deliveries)
• Collaborate with in-house anesthesia for patient care
• Support hospital staff in OB-related patient management
• Use Epic EMR system to document and coordinate care
• Provide backup OB/GYN on-call coverage as needed
• Engage in standard OBED procedures and patient assessments

What You Need

• Valid medical license for Mississippi or willingness to obtain
• Certification in ACLS, PALS, NRP (or willingness to acquire)
• Experience in obstetrics or hospitalist work preferred but not required
• Ability to work a 24-hour shift schedule
