Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Virginia and Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or in a similar obstetric care role
- Exceptional clinical judgment and patient management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with hospital staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with urgent and emergent obstetric situations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Prior experience in a hospitalist role or temporary/locum positions
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of obstetric practice, including hospital-based work
- Up-to-date certifications in ACLS and BLS
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start on 12/30/2025, with flexible scheduling options
- Competitive hourly rate of $214.50
- Must adhere to all licensing, certification, and hospital credentialing procedures
- Willingness to travel as needed, with reimbursements provided for licensure, certification, and travel expenses
