Required Skills:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric care experience
- Valid medical license in Texas or eligible for licensure
- Proven skills in labor and delivery management, emergency care, and patient communication
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual proficiency
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice experience, preferably in hospital settings
- Recent hospital-based OB/GYN practice within the last year
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Ability to obtain or maintain medical privileges at the host hospital (expedited privileges available for clean files)
- Current board certification and clean malpractice record
