Are you a dedicated Physician seeking an exciting locum opportunity in the vibrant city of San Antonio? We are looking for a skilled OB Hospitalist to provide exceptional care in a dynamic, supportive environment. What You’ll Do:
As an OB Hospitalist, you will deliver high-quality obstetric care, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy hospital setting. Your expertise will help foster positive outcomes for mothers and babies, making a real difference in the community.

Required Skills:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active Texas Medical License or ability to obtain one
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB-GYN)
  • Current DEA registration
  • Proven experience in obstetric care with strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience as a hospitalist or in a similar locum role
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of post-residency experience in obstetrics
  • Previous locum or hospitalist experience is highly desirable

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to start promptly on December 31, 2025
  • Must have or obtain full medical licensure in Texas
  • Willingness to travel as needed and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
