What You’ll Do:
As an OB Hospitalist, you will deliver high-quality obstetric care, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy hospital setting. Your expertise will help foster positive outcomes for mothers and babies, making a real difference in the community.
Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active Texas Medical License or ability to obtain one
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB-GYN)
- Current DEA registration
- Proven experience in obstetric care with strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience as a hospitalist or in a similar locum role
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency experience in obstetrics
- Previous locum or hospitalist experience is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start promptly on December 31, 2025
- Must have or obtain full medical licensure in Texas
- Willingness to travel as needed and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
