Exciting Opportunity for Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in Springfield, MO

Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid state medical license in Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience
- Proven ability to handle high-volume obstetric cases with professionalism and competence
- Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working as a hospitalist in obstetrics
- Neonatal ICU (NICU) experience, particularly Level 3 care
- Ability to manage gynecological emergencies effectively
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- At least 2 years of recent OB hospitalist experience in a busy hospital setting
- Prior experience managing high-acuity obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start on or before December 31, 2025
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet patient care needs
- Must adhere to all applicable licensure and certification requirements
- Willingness to travel for licensing or credentialing purposes if needed
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification
