Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Radiology in Charleston, WV
Are you a dedicated radiologist seeking an exciting locum opportunity in the vibrant city of Charleston, West Virginia? Northern Light Medical Management, in partnership with CAMC General Hospital, is actively seeking a skilled and passionate Radiologist with Neuro Fellowship to provide exceptional imaging services. What You’ll Do:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using XR, CT, MR, US, and Nuc Med modalities.
- Handle a diverse case mix focusing on ER and Neuro cases, along with occasional Nuc Med.
- Work remotely, providing high-quality interpretations for a busy hospital environment.
- Achieve daily volume expectations of 90-100 exams and generate approximately 60-70 wRVUs per shift.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certification in Radiology.
- Subspecialty fellowship in Neuro Radiology is mandatory.
- Valid state medical license in West Virginia or the ability to obtain one promptly.
- Proven experience in ER, Neuro, and Nuc Med imaging.
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and professional collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working in a remote or teleradiology setting.
- Familiarity with hospital EMR systems.
- Additional subspecialty certifications or training.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completed radiology residency with fellowship in Neuro Radiology.
- Minimum of 3+ years of post-fellowship radiology practice, especially in neuro imaging.
Other Requirements:
- Must include malpractice coverage in your rates.
- Flexibility to work up to 8-hour shifts with the ability to handle additional wRVUs beyond plan.
- Willingness to handle travel or licensing reimbursements if applicable.
- Valid medical license in West Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
