What You Will Do:
As a Locum Radiologist, you will interpret a wide variety of diagnostic images including XR, CT, MRI, US, and Nuc Med in high-volume ER and inpatient settings. You’ll play a critical role in urgent stroke diagnoses, emergency assessments, and subspecialty cases, ensuring timely and accurate readings. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and advance your professional skills in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills:

  • Valid medical license in West Virginia or the ability to obtain one promptly
  • Board certification in radiology (MD or DO)
  • Proven experience with high-volume reading, particularly in ER and inpatient settings
  • Proficiency in interpreting stroke, emergency, and subspecialty imaging cases
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with reliable internet access
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certification in advanced imaging modalities or subspecialties such as Neuro, MSK, or Nuc Med
  • Experience with teleradiology platforms and electronic medical records
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance in radiology practice

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of radiology practice, with significant experience in ER and inpatient workflows
  • Prior locum or flexible work experience preferred but not required

  • Availability to start on or around April 28, 2026
  • Must be comfortable with stroke imaging and emergency cases
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care with attention to detail
  • Willingness to fulfill travel and licensing reimbursements as applicable
