What You’ll Do
Perform hospital-based interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, UFE, and related interventions
Support adult patient demographic with a focus on geriatric care
Collaborate with a team of three physicians and two advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality IR services
Handle approximately 8 cases per day in a Level I trauma center setting
Participate in Q3 call schedule, providing coverage on weekdays and weekends
Document procedures and patient interactions within the facility’s EMR system
Contribute to patient care across multiple specialties including ortho, gynecology, and urology as needed
What You Need Required:
Medical license and certification in Interventional Radiology (MD/DO) or equivalent
Ability to perform angioplasty, embolization, biopsy, and other core IR procedures
Proven experience in a hospital IR department
Preferred:
Additional experience in orthopedic, gynecology, and urology procedures
Flexibility with travel arrangements for providers able to do 3+ weeks of coverage per month
