Northern Light Medical Management at Wooster Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Locum Radiologist to provide exceptional imaging services in a dynamic hospital setting. This pivotal role offers the chance to work remotely with a focus on emergent cases, including stroke and perfusion imaging, and to collaborate with a supportive team committed to your success.
Required Skills:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology
- Proficient in reading all CT scans (excluding CT Cardiac), XR, MR, US, and NM imaging modalities
- Experience with high-volume ED cases and subspecialty case mix (ER, MSK, Neuro)
- Ability to interpret stroke/perfusion studies and efficiently manage a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with MERGE imaging systems
- Additional subspecialty expertise (e.g., Neuro, MSK)
- Familiarity with hospital workflows and emergency radiology protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in Ohio or eligible for licensing
- Prior locum or hospital-based radiology experience is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to cover high-volume ED shifts, approximately 8 hours per day
- Current malpractice insurance coverage (must be included in compensation package)
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet connectivity
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and travel reimbursement policies
