Are you a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon looking for an exciting locum opportunity that offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and professional growth? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to provide exceptional surgical care at our hospital in San Bernardino, CA. What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Proven expertise in Cardiothoracic Surgery, including procedures like CABG, AVR, and Lung surgeries
- Strong surgical skills with experience as a first assist
- Ability to handle hospital rounding, on-call duties, and patient charting
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- No surgical experience? Please note, candidates with general surgery background and CT fellowship are considered
Nice to Have:
- Experience with vein harvesting
- Prior locum or hospital-based surgical experience
- Peds or burn surgery familiarity is not required
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery or General Surgery with fellowship in CT Surgery
- Prior hospital-based surgical experience preferred
- Valid medical license in California
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to start as soon as credentialed (credentialing can take up to 90 days)
- Must be able to commit to a 6-month assignment
- Travel and lodging arrangements can be made, with preferred lodging at Hampton Inn San Bernardino or nearby
- Must hold current certifications and meet all credentialing requirements with St. Bernardines Hospital and DHMF
- Must have active malpractice coverage included in rates
