What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient and emergency care for cardiothoracic surgery patients, including CABG and thoracic procedures
• Round on inpatients on the cardiovascular surgery service
• Be on call for emergent procedures, including 24-hour call coverage
• Manage a caseload of approximately 4-6 patients daily in the hospital setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PAs, NPs, and support staff
• Perform complex surgical procedures within the facility, ensuring patient care without transferring to other hospitals
• Adhere to hospital protocols and prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes

What You Need

• Ohio Medical License and Board Certification in Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery
• 3+ years of recent cardiothoracic surgery experience (CABG preferred)
• Ability to handle high-acuity cases and complex patient populations
• Strong clinical skills in thoracic and vascular surgery (vascular is a bonus but not required)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
