What You’ll Do
Provide inpatient and emergency care for cardiothoracic surgery patients, including CABG and thoracic procedures
Round on inpatients on the cardiovascular surgery service
Be on call for emergent procedures, including 24-hour call coverage
Manage a caseload of approximately 4-6 patients daily in the hospital setting
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PAs, NPs, and support staff
Perform complex surgical procedures within the facility, ensuring patient care without transferring to other hospitals
Adhere to hospital protocols and prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes
What You Need
Ohio Medical License and Board Certification in Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery
3+ years of recent cardiothoracic surgery experience (CABG preferred)
Ability to handle high-acuity cases and complex patient populations
Strong clinical skills in thoracic and vascular surgery (vascular is a bonus but not required)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
