Saint Joseph Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Surgeon for locum support. Key Responsibilities include performing general orthopedic procedures such as fractures and injuries, participating in hospital call, surgery, and clinic duties on Wednesdays, and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves hospital call coverage and requires proficiency with the EPIC EMR system, along with collaboration with support staff including CMAs and OR personnel.
The position offers a remunerative hourly rate of $18.72, along with various supplementary pay components designed to reflect the demanding and flexible nature of locum work. Benefits include:

Preferred skills include strong surgical expertise, excellent patient communication, and the ability to adapt quickly in a hospital environment. Additional desirable qualifications include familiarity with EPIC EMR, experience in hospital and clinic workflows, and the capacity to cover flexible schedules and on-call duties.
Other requirements involve participating in hospital call and clinics, with scheduled coverage beginning May 11, 2026, and ongoing monthly support. The position encompasses hospital and clinic responsibilities at Saint Joseph London Hospital and Baptist Health Corbin, covering busy orthopedic caseloads with approximately 10-15 admits, consultations, and cases daily.
