Orthopedic Trauma Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Georgia 

DATES: As soon as possible - ongoing 

Tuesday – Friday
No weekends, no call responsibilities 

Position Highlights
• Tuesday – Friday schedule
• Clinic: Tuesday and Fridays
• Orthopedic trauma clinic and hospital consults
• Clinic Responsibilities: No procedures done in the clinic. Will work with MA. Must be comfortable working independently. Possible cast remove, putting casts on, suturing, etc.
• Inpatient rounding and patient management
• Possible opportunity for first assist in the operating room
• Pre-operative and post-operative care
• Evaluation and management of orthopedic trauma patients
• Average of 2–4 orthopedic trauma consults per day
• Trauma consults are expected to be evaluated within one hour of notification
• Collaborative physician-led practice with dedicated orthopedic trauma surgeons

Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Orthopedic surgery, trauma surgery, or surgical APP experience preferred
First assist experience preferred
Georgia licensure or NLC (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical decision-making and excellent communication skills
