• 7 on/off schedule -- days, nights, and swing shifts available
• Days avg 20 - 22 pts; swings 7 - 9 admits; nights 6 - 7 admits
• Cross cover up to 280 pts on nights; 40 new admits per day
• Inpatient hospital setting
• Closed ICU -- step-down unit available; no procedures required
• Responds to codes for own patients only
