LOCUMS BC Pediatric Physician Needed for Call Only in Edenton, NC

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Pediatrics, located in Edenton, NC, are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Physician to provide locums call coverage.  Provider will need to come in the day before their first shift for orientation and EHR training. 

All shift hours are 7a7a

October 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th
October 19th 
October 22nd - 25th 

**note**

• Mix of nursery and pediatrics
• The provider is not required to stay at the hospital while on call. The provider will stay in a hotel near the hospital and will be called if needed to come on-site.
• No pediatric intensivist

DETAILS  

• Pediatric call coverage only
• Avg# of admissions/day - one in the hospital
• Avg# inpatient census - 1 baby born per day
• Will respond to codes: No- unless in the nursery
• Required attendance at C-sections when requested by OB provider
• No ICU/Critical Care duties
• No ER backup coverage required
• EMR= EPIC
• Required Certification:  BLS and PALS
