Weekend coverage -- Saturday and Sunday only
24-hour shifts
Avg 11 patients per physician per day
Rounding with 2 - 3 pediatric/ED residents
Ventilation management, chest tube, central/arterial line insertion
Lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, ICP evaluation, exchange transfusions
BLS and PALS/APLS certifications required
Must respond to in-house codes
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
Assignment details and time entry in online portal
