Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in preparing and replenishing food items at live cooking or buffet stations
- Execute basic cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, carving support, or assembly according to standards
- Maintain proper preparation and organization to support smooth and continuous service
- Restock ingredients, utensils, and service items promptly
- Interact professionally with guests when required
- Respond to basic questions about menu items and ingredients
- Maintain a friendly, composed presence while working in view of guests
- Follow portion standards to ensure consistency and cost control
- Maintain product appearance and freshness on display
- Replace items according to holding-time guidelines
- Monitor temperatures of hot and cold holding equipment
- Prevent cross-contamination between raw and cooked products
- Maintain clean and organized service surfaces visible to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness throughout service
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of action stations
- Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience
- Must have a working knowledge of the food service industry
- Basic cooking skills or culinary training preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Comfort working in guest-facing settings
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Safety Handler Certification
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
