Description for Log Truck Driver:

• Safely load, transport, and deliver raw timber logs from forestry sites to regional mills in a timely, efficient manner.
• Verify load weights and binder security carefully to ensure full compliance with state transport limits and road safety regulations.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining a clean, well-maintained rig inside and out.
• Demonstrate sharp situational awareness navigating active logging roads, adhering strictly to safety protocols and defensive driving practices.
• Interact professionally with landing crews, mill yard operators, dispatchers, and site leads to ensure smooth material drop-offs.

Details for Log Truck Driver:

• Pay Rate: $28.00 – $35.00 / hour (Scaling based strictly on Depth of Experience / DOE).
• Placement Type:DIRECT HIRE (Skip the temporary phase and go straight onto the client's permanent payroll!).

Requirements for Log Truck Driver:

• Must possess a current, valid Class A CDL License.
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience strictly required.
• Must have at least 1–2 years of specific, hands-on log truck driving experience.
• Must possess a clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card.
• Solid, steady work history demonstrating longevity and reliability with past employers.
• Physical capability to handle active labor, throw wrappers/binders, and lift at least 50 lbs unassisted when needed.
