    Description

    SUMMARY

    The Logistics Dry Bulk Operator is responsible for the safe handling, movement, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies within an industrial facility. Required to load bulk super sacks, trucks, and railcars. This position supports production, maintenance, and warehouse operations by ensuring materials are delivered accurately and efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to all company safety standards.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, hoists, and other material-handling equipment in a safe manner.
    • Pull, package, label, sample product, and prepare materials for work orders, maintenance activities, and outbound shipments.
    • Attention to detail: making sure paperwork is filled out properly and the ability to recognize errors.
    • Maintain organized warehouse to ensure efficient material retrieval.
    • Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities.
    • Identify damaged, defective, or incorrect materials and report discrepancies to supervision.
    • Assist with shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination.
    • Maintain accurate documentation including receiving reports, inventory logs, transfer records, and shipping paperwork.
    • Maintain good housekeeping standards in warehouses and loading areas.
    • Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operating procedures.
    • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all company, environmental, health, and safety regulations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
