The Logistics Analyst will provide acquisition logisticssupport to the Logistics Management Division (LMD) Chief for Uncrewed AircraftSystems that spans the acquisition life-cycle framework. Support will focus on the writing, management,and staffing of acquisition logistics documentation meeting milestone events. They will coordinate the UAS documentationIntegrated Product Team (IPT), develop schedules, track progress, keep meetingminutes/notes, adjudicate comments between internal and externalstakeholders. The Logistics Analyst willprovide timely review of new or updated acquisition documentation, includingbut not limited to Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSP) and associated annexes,Acquisition Strategy (AS), Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), to support alignmentback the LCSP for acquisition milestone reviews. They will be required to maintain cognizanceof deadlines and take appropriate action to complete tasks in time toaccommodate review schedules. Leveragetechnical and logistics experience in performing reviewing contractor proposalswith a focus on identifying potential product support impacts. Recognize issues, propose or jointly developcorrective action, and keep the LOG Chief informed. Additionally, the incumbent will act as the technical lead for logisticsdata integration, engineering software interfaces and exporting critical systemdata to ensure interoperability across disparate DoD networks. Providebriefings, presentations, and written reports to leadership, management, andpeers. Must be proficient in MicrosoftOffice Suite programs such as, but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook, MS Teams etc.
Logistics Management Specialists should possess theknowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the following duties andresponsibilities:
Write, manage, and staff acquisition logisticsdocumentation
Coordinate the LMD documentation IntegratedProduct Team (IPT), develop schedules, track progress, keep meetingminutes/notes, and adjudicate comments between internal and externalstakeholders.
Design, develop, and maintain XML schemas and data export interfaces toensure seamless logistics data interoperability between internal databases andexternal partner systems.
Architect system-to-system data exchanges and translate legacy logisticsdata into compliant Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) transactionformats (e.g., DLMS XML/EDI).
Familiar with MIL-HDBK-502A Product SupportAnalysis, GEIA-HB-0007B Logistics Product Data Handbook, SAE-GEIA-STD-0007CLogistics Product Data, SAE-TA-HB-0007-1 Logistics Product Data SummariesHandbook, TSTD-017A Product Support Analysis.
Knowledge of, Level of Repair Analysis, FailureModes and Effects Criticality Analysis, Basis of Issues Plan, TypeClassification, and Materiel Release, Technical Publications, Statement ofWork, Performance Work Statements, Statement of Objectives, ContractDeliverable Line Item.
Provide timely review of new or updatedacquisition documentation, such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) andassociated annexes, Acquisition Strategies (AS), and Systems Engineering Plans(SEP) to support alignment with the LCSP and acquisition milestonereviews.
Leverage technical and logistics experience inreviewing contractor proposals with a focus on identifying potential productsupport impacts. Recognize issues,propose or jointly develop corrective actions, and keep the PSM informed.
Provide briefings, presentations, and writtenreports to leadership, management and peers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ANDABILITIES REQUIRED:
At least 10 years of acquisition experience in aUnited States Army Project Offices or supporting LCMCs required.
Experience developing, reviewing, staffing,modifying and/or providing input into acquisition documentation, especiallyLife Cycle Sustainment Plans (LSCP) and appendices for ACAT I or II programsrequired.
Highly Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on experience insoftware/data interface development, including writing XML, parsing datapayloads, and configuring data export/import routines between heterogeneoussystems.Participation in technical Integrated ProductTeam (IPT) meetings or coordinating with engineers and technical staff.
Experiencewith tracing logistics documents requirements to the DoDI 5000.1 and DoDI5000.2, DoDI 5000.2, DoDI 5000.85, DoDI 5000.91, AR 700-127, and DA PAM700-127.

EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE:
10 years of related logistics experience with a BA/BS Degree or16 years logistics experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree
