SALARY RANGE: $60k-$70k

 

Description:

Patricio Enterprises is seeking a candidate to work on logistics and maintain programs on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of systems logistics requirements and resources for the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Product Manager Combat Service Support Equipment (PdM CSSE) contract.

 

Primary duties will include (but not limited to)

  • Provides acquisition logistic support including sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and availability of the system's components.
  • Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
  • Assists in the determination of maintenance and repair materials and standards required for deployment.
  • Assists in the development of requisitions for and management of records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support lifecycle of product.
  • Works on logistics and maintainability programs on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of systems logistics requirements and resources.
  • Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs.
  • Reviews contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures.
  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
  • Generally, requires knowledge of the Federal Supply System as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  •  Knowledge of DoD Acquisition and Life-Cycle Management policies and procedures including DoD 5000 series and service-specific guidance. 
  • Must be able to work independently.  
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.  
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time. 
  • Must be able to research, analyze, and evaluate information to provide multiple courses of action. 
  • Must be able to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. 

  

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 2 - 4years of experience, or a master’s with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Experience working with the Federal Government DoD acquisition programs

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT 

This job operates in both a professional office environment and a field environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines as well as military equipment. While normally office working environment, Test support may require extended periods outside under adverse climatic conditions.
