    Description

    The Business Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to the Vice President, Warehouse Operations, overseeing PIP's North American distribution network. This role will focus on driving operational excellence by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting performance data from multiple distribution centers. The analyst will identify trends, highlight opportunities, and recommend actions to improve service, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and the ability to turn insights into action across a multi-site operation.

    Ideal candidates will have strong experience building reports and dashboards in platforms including PowerBI, Tableau or similar tools.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Performance Monitoring & Analysis Track

    • Analyze and improve KPIs across all North America distribution centers (productivity, order accuracy, on-time shipping, labor efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety metrics, etc).
    • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to provide clear visibility of operational performance to leadership (experience with PowerBI or Tableau required).
    • Identify and investigate variances, performance gaps, and root causes, providing actionable recommendations.

    Strategic Support

    • Partner with the VP to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
    • Support the development of annual operating plans, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Assist in evaluating capital investment projects, network optimization, and automation initiatives.

    Process Improvement & Best Practices

    • Collaborate with site leaders to standardize reporting and performance measurements across the network.
    • Support Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement projects with data analysis and business case development.
    • Monitor post implementation results of process changes to ensure benefits are realized.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Liaise with Operations, Finance, Inventory Planning, Customer Service, Quality and IT to align operational performance with corporate goals.
    • Support the integration of acquisitions and/or new facilities into the reporting and performance framework.
    • Provide data-driven insights to help resolve service challenges or customer escalations.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or related field (Master's preferred).
    • 3+ years of experience in operations analysis, supply chain analytics, or business performance management (distribution or manufacturing environment preferred).
    • Strong proficiency with Excel, Power BI/Tableau (or similar visualization tools), and ERP/WMS reporting.
    • Solid understanding of distribution and logistics operations.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadership.
    • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies a plus.
