  • Collaborate across procurement, logistics, maintenance, engineering, transportation, finance, contracts, and government stakeholders to keep property management synchronized with operations.
  • Monitor, review and approve taggable assets transactions in program’s system of record.
  • Maintain SOPs and desktop procedures; support internal/external audits and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR 45 and DFARS 245 requirements governing acquisition, use, records maintenance, subcontractor oversight, reporting, and disposition of Government property.
  • Validate that property records include mandatory FAR data elements (location, condition, value, acquisition method, unique ID, status, etc.).
  • Monitor contractor‑acquired property (CAP) for proper classification, reporting, and conversion to GFP when required.
  • Oversee loss/damage/theft/destruction (LTDD) incidents, ensure reporting to Government Property Administrators (GPAs), support investigations, and maintain documentation.

  • Coordinate sensitive‑item accountability, ensuring compliance with enhanced physical security, tracking, and inventory requirements.
  • Validate equipment utilization to prevent idle, under‑used, or misclassified property; drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper marking, labeling, and identification of all GFP/CAP in accordance with contract and system requirements.
