Are you organized, detail-oriented, and someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our team and help support the day-to-day operations of a busy Logistics Department within a manufacturing environment!
In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping orders, shipments, documentation, and logistics information accurate and on track. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working with computer systems, and juggling multiple priorities.

Order Entry & Processing
Enter purchase orders, customer orders, and shipment information into ERP and internal logistics systems.
Keep order and shipment status information up to date.
Assist with shipment transactions, including delivery orders, warehouse issues, goods issues, and billing activities.
Shipment Coordination
Enter shipment information into tracking systems.
Review shipment information for accuracy and make sure documentation is complete.
Assist with shipment scheduling and maintaining accurate logistics records.
Monitor shipment updates and communicate any issues or discrepancies to the Logistics team.
Administrative Support
Maintain organized logistics records and files.
Prepare reports and spreadsheets as needed.
Assist with invoice processing and documentation.
Help with department projects and process improvement initiatives.
Provide general administrative support to the Logistics team.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience with SAP, ERP systems, or transportation management systems.
Previous logistics, customer service, order processing, or administrative experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
