This position involves supporting the shipping department with duties such as unloading elevators, staging truck shipments, processing customer returns, and managing UPS orders.
It requires loading trucks, ensuring proper stretch wrapping, and maintaining a clean, safe work area on the dock.
The role includes checking forklifts daily and operating equipment safely; experience with computer systems is preferred.
The candidate should be able to read and understand English, possess good math skills, and be able to drive or learn to operate a forklift and electric hand truck.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
This position reports to the Logistics Manager and is part of a team committed to collaborative success. Must be 18 or older and work in a drug-free environment.
