Logistics Associate Jobs in Fremont, CA

Sigma Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Associate to support warehouse and logistics operations at our client's facility in Fremont, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping and receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, GMP environments, RF scanners, and material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a regulated warehouse environment, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing customer orders, and supporting daily logistics operations while adhering to GMP, SOP, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, stage, weigh, and load customer orders for internal and external shipment.
  • Use RF scanners (RF guns) to perform inventory transactions and order processing.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping and warehouse documentation.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Monitor inventory and warehouse supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas.
  • Participate in all required training related to Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP requirements, and safety programs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and warehouse operations activities.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy records.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, pallet transfer systems, shrink wrappers, strapping machines, conveyors, pallet scales, and related material handling equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of GMP warehouse experience.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics activities.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and safety requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to support work at multiple warehouse locations if required.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and rounding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SAP, ERP systems, or similar warehouse management systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, medical device, or GMP-regulated environments.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform warehouse duties throughout the workday.
