Sigma Inc. is hiring a Logistics Associate for a 6-month contract at our client’s facility in Fremont, CA. This is a 100% onsite, 1st-shift opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with GMP warehouse experience, RF scanner skills, and strong attention to safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, stage, scale, and load customer orders for internal and external movement using an RF scanner/gun.
• Prepare and maintain all required shipping, inventory, and logistics documentation.
• Perform daily cycle counts using RF equipment and assist Inventory Control with investigating and reconciling discrepancies.
• Maintain adequate supplies in assigned warehouse areas and backfill materials as needed.
• Perform housekeeping, cleanup, and light maintenance activities to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow GMP, SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), company policies, and safety procedures.
• Complete required training and consistently demonstrate knowledge of applicable procedures.
• Participate in department meetings, performance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Accurately maintain hard-copy and electronic records.
• Perform computer-based data-entry and RF transactions.
• Operate warehouse material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, pallet transfer equipment, shrink wrappers/bundlers, strapping machines, pallet scales, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Adapt to changing daily assignments while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, accuracy, and customer service.
• Work independently while contributing effectively as part of a warehouse/logistics team.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of GMP warehouse experience required.
• Experience using RF scanners/guns for warehouse transactions.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed SOPs, WIs, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rounding, and calculator use.
• Ability to perform accurate data-entry and maintain detailed records.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation required due to potential work assignments at multiple warehouse sites.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments.
• Willingness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or equivalent warehouse/inventory systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with warehouse material-handling equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to remain active in a warehouse environment and safely perform picking, packing, staging, loading, and material-handling activities.
