    Description

    *URGENTLY HIRING*

    Hours: Monday - Friday 10am to 7pm

    This position performs packaging of electronic circuit boards and/or mechanical assemblies in accordance with Hytec's work instructions. Ensures that all items are properly packaged to protect them during the shipping process. Maintains proficient level of productivity and adheres to Hytec's quality standards.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Package individual circuit boards, fusers, mechanical assemblies or other electronic components or freight
    • Pulls inventory from storage locations for order shipment staging
    • Stages and prepares customer orders in accordance with specified instructions for palletized or parcel shipments
    • Processes shipments with the appropriate carrier (Fedex, UPS, etc.) and coordinates for pickup
    • Monitors shipping materials and coordinates with purchasing team for replenishment
    • Responsible for Inventory control and Restocking supplies of assigned area

    QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma, GED Certificate, or equivalent work experience
    • Previous experience in a shipping environment
    • Knowledge and previous experience processing orders through Fedex and UPS systems
    • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified within 90 days

    • Strong work ethic
    • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, General Use)
    • Ability to stand at a workstation entire shift and lift up to 100 lbs on occasion. Must be able to lift to 60 lbs regularly. 

    WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Works in a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

    Work assignments are consistent with shipping responsibilities

    Work has some occasional stress due to periodical or cyclical workload pressures

    Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs but up to 60 lbs.

    Moderate dexterity is required in the regular application of basic skills (keyboard, eye/hand coordination)

    Full Time position with some weekend or OT required as workload dictates
