Description
Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Logistics Associate to support overnight supply chain and logistics operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory management of medical supplies while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient supply environment.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with internal departments, vendors, and supply chain team members.
Job Responsibilities
Receive, distribute, and store medical supplies throughout the facility.
Accurately stock medical supplies into designated par stock locations.
Move and organize pallets within warehouse and storage areas.
Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Rotate inventory to ensure proper product utilization.
Monitor inventory for expired or soon-to-expire products and remove as needed.
Support receiving, warehousing, storage, transportation, and inventory control activities.
Research and resolve receiving discrepancies, invoice issues, proof of delivery questions, and return requests.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding expedited shipments, returns, and shipment issues.
Process high volumes of requests received via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Utilize reports to ensure transaction accuracy, critical order fulfillment, and data integrity.
Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate on long-term solutions.
Assist with the distribution of medical products, including controlled substances and hazardous materials, while following all applicable policies and regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other projects as assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or business-related experience.
OR
Associate's Degree with one (1) year of related experience.
Strong computer skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Adaptable and flexible in a changing work environment.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
