Logistics Clerk for a large, well-known client in
Monee, IL. As a skilled
Logistics Clerk you will be responsible for overseeing and systematically preparing the daily flow of outbound shipments, monitoring timely and accurate order processing, transportation scheduling with carriers, and communication across teams. This role serves as a key liaison between the warehouse, customer service, transportation providers, and management, while also supporting activities within the distribution center.

Available shifts include: 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, M-F
Logistics Clerk Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare orders within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for order picking.
- Monitor out-of-stock (Orders held short) and communicate with management and customer service
teams - Communicating with inbound & outbound carriers for scheduling.
- Prepare and distribute daily open order reports to supervisors, managers, and corporate teams.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation across logistics and administrative
systems. - Assist with warehouse activities including inventory counts, order checking and general support during
high-volume periods. - Crosstrain in other departments as needed to support business operations and improve team versatility.
- Analyze current logistics procedures, write standard process, tutorial documents and recommend
process enhancements to supervisors and managers for increased efficiency and accuracy
Logistics Clerk Requirements and Qualifications- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Solid data entry and word processing skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Proficiency in WMS platforms and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in an office-based role with frequent interaction in a warehouse environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support cross-functional duties.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
