The Logistics Clerk ensures the timely shipping of IDT products to customers, including picking, packing, and verifying customer orders. This position performs other shipping-related duties including consolidating packages and preparing manifests.Essential Functions:Creates current and future shipping manifestsPicks, packs, verifies, and processes customer orders using various software suitesConsolidates packages destined for specific customersPrepares and processes small package shipments for personnel outside of the Logistics GroupManages department inventory and performs cycle countingNotifies Customer Care and Key Accounts personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addressesMakes Electronic Export Information (EEI) filingsDelivers packages to local customers and to the Eastern Iowa Airport, when necessaryEducation, Licensure, Certification, Registration:High school diploma or equivalent requiredValid Iowa driver's license requiredProfessional Experience:Previous shipping experience preferredPrevious experience with shipping software suites preferredProficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferredOther Job Qualifications:Attention to detail and ability to multi-taskStrong customer service skillsAbility to learn and use a variety of software programs required for successful job performanceAdaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composureAbility to maintain both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workersAdaptability to perform repetitive work or to perform continuously the same work, according to set procedures sequence or pacePhysical Requirements:Exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.#J-18808-Ljbffr
